Dear Colleagues,

    It is with great pleasure that the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control (CFHPC) together, announce we are planning a repeat of the last two years’ highly successful CONNECT program between hepatologists, infectious disease doctors, liver surgeons, and other health care providers in China with experts from the USA.  We recognize many physicians in China are interested in cutting edge research findings presented at AASLD The Liver Meeting® but very few can make it to the meeting. The program will include presentations of the latest research data but also clinical case discussions, lectures on how to conduct research and feedback on research presentations. We expect this program will offer a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas, to foster collaborative research between Chinese and American physicians, surgeons and researchers, and to train the next generation of researchers in China.
